Ski beginners and children
Is every beginning difficult? Not necessarily!
With numerous practice lifts, family-friendly ski runs, and a large selection of blue and red slopes, skiing beginners and children can have tons of fun during their wintery mountain experience.
With the Wilder Kaiser always in full view, its dynamic and unmistakable rock formations will awaken the fighting spirit in you too. YOU CAN DO IT! Then, nothing stands in your way of skiing down the black slopes.
The best place for beginners to start is in the large practice area in the valley before the next step (or rather the next ski run) leads you up the mountain.
Ski schools
in Ellmau and Going
Of course, highly trained ski and snowboard instructors are available and happy to help you or your young skier advance from learning the snowplough technique to skiing down your first slope.
No matter whether you prefer to learn how to become a skiing pro in a group or with private lessons: the ski schools in the region provide the perfect offer for every skiing novice.
Do you still need your school supplies?
Of course we don’t mean actual school supplies but rather the perfect ski and snowboard equipment: our partners Intersport Winkler (right at the valley station of the Hartkaiserbahn lift in Ellmau) and Going Sport (at the valley station of the Astbergbahn lift in Going) will optimally equip you for your winter adventure and provide excellent customer service and advice.
