A thrilling winter experience!
If you prefer to dash down the mountain on sled runners instead of strapping boards to your feet, you will get your money’s worth with a fun toboggan ride in Going: the Astbergbahn lift will comfortably take you to the start of the toboggan run. You can then sled down directly to the valley station in Going, or you can take the path that branches off the trail and head towards Ellmau.

Then try out night tobogganing with floodlighting!
From Wednesday to Sunday from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, the Asterberbahn lift will comfortably take you to the start of the toboggan run (floodlit in the evening), which provides a thrilling experience as you race back down into the valley.
The Astbergbahn lift is open Wednesday – Sunday from 6:30 – 9:30 pm
- Floodlit: Wednesday – Sunday until 12:00 am
- Day, week, and season tickets as well as points cards are not valid in the evenings
- Not in operation in the evening during storms and bad weather conditions!
The toboggan run is closed daily from 5:00 - 6:30 pm and from 12:00 am – 8:00 am!
During this time, we do not guarantee any protection against danger!

A new form of transportation awaits you!
Starting December 25, 2021, our new toboggan bus runs in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday in Ellmau and Going to several stations in the towns and will take you directly to the valley station of the Astbergbahn lift. You can then dash back down to the starting point on your toboggan!
