The modern 10-person gondola has been comfortably taking people up the mountain since 2015. And it's actually relatively fast: from Ellmau, you will be transported up to an elevation of 1,530 m in less than 9 minutes - but of course there is still enough time to enjoy the sensational view of the Wilder Kaiser and the surrounding mountains. All cabins are equipped with heated seats and WLAN and are handicap accessible. A particularly long boarding area ensures comfortable and relaxed boarding.

The valley station is home to the restaurant Tirol Bar & Grill with delicious specialties, and right at the summit station, you will find the KaiserLounge with a breathtaking Sky Terrace as well as the panoramic restaurant BergKaiser.
There is also a modern sports shop including bike rental at the valley station.

Astbergbahn lift Going
1,200 meters above everyday life
The Astbergbahn lift is the most convenient way to head up the mountain in Going, where adorable four-legged friends, a cinema, and the mirror of the Kaiser await you. The ride up on the 4-person chair lift invites you to relax and enjoy yourself as you let your gaze wander at the beautiful sights.
Once you have arrived at the top, you can already see the furry little noses of the residents of the Pony Alm, the idyllic Astbergsee, and the splendid nature that is waiting to be explored.
Numerous hiking tours start right on the Astberg, from easy routes for leisurely hikers to routes that require a bit of muscle.

The sensational view of the Wilder Kaiser and Tyrol's surrounding mountains accompanies you on all paths, and in the Kaiserkino, you can enjoy the majestic view as you relax in the comfortable wooden loungers.
Of course, there are also refreshment stops with hearty snacks on the mountain! And if you prefer to pack your own snack in your backpack, there are many beautiful places to sit and pamper your eyes and your palate.
