Life is not all fun and games, but on the Pony Alm, it is!
Our ponies spend their summer vacation here on the Astberg in Going and are always happy to have visitors! While Mom and Dad explore the gorgeous nature on foot, the little ones can experience the mountains in a special (and comfortable) way on the back of our adorable four-legged friends.
More than just ponies will greet you on the Astberg - many other furry friends look forward to meeting their new pals in the petting zoo!
No reservation is required for pony riding. The maximum weight for pony riding is 40 kg.

A view into the mirror of the Kaiser
After enjoying a comfortable ride up the mountain on the Astbergbahn lift, scenery like out of a storybook awaits you at an elevation of 1,300 m.
Easy hikes for the whole family as well as more challenging tours start right at the summit station - magnificent views of the surrounding mountains accompany you while you explore nature on the mountain.
Children can explore the Astberg in a special way, because the residents at the Pony Alm look forward to making new friends, who can take them on a little ride through their wonderful, exciting mountain home.
The Astbergsee is located only a few steps from the summit station and provides refreshing experiences on warm summer days with its crystal-clear water - an unforgettable activity in the middle of Tyrol's mountains.
Since the breathtaking panorama of the Wilder Kaiser not only extends in your field of vision but is also reflected in the Astbergsee, the lake is known as the "mirror of the Kaiser".

Kaiserkino

Even if the same movie plays almost every single day, you won't be able to get enough of this film: from comfortable wooden loungers, you can enjoy the best view of the "screen" from your front-row seat at the Kaiserkino on the Astberg - and by screen, we mean the impressive, majestic, Oscar-worthy Wilder Kaiser massif!
The wonderful background noise of nature provides the soundtrack to the movie, and if you want, you can bring popcorn with you. Although a special snack would be more appropriate in this special cinema. ;)
The Kaiserkino serves as a place of strength and a relaxation oasis as well as a place of inspiration. If you are looking for relaxation, want to recharge your batteries, or simply enjoy the beautiful nature and mountains of the Wilder Kaiser, you have come to the right place.

Car
You can reach the Astbergbahn lift in Going easily by car. At the valley station, you will find plenty of parking spaces that can be used for free.
Plane
The nearest airports are located
- in Innsbruck – ca. 1 hr. drive
- in Salzburg – ca. 1 – 1.5 hr. drive
- in Munich – ca. 1.5 hr. drive
Shuttle services are available at the airports – it is best to book your airport transfer in advance! You can find more information about this on the website of the respective airport.
Train
Upon arrival, you can reach us by train via the Wörgl, Kufstein, or St. Johann train station in Tyrol. You can find schedules and connections on the website of the ÖBB.
